Dr. Gary R. Maglio, O.D.

“Sight is a very special gift and I believe that it is my responsibility to preserve, protect, and provide the best vision and eye care to my patients.”

Dr. Maglio

Dr. Maglio grew up in Plainville and graduated from Plainville High School as a National Honor Society student as well as a Connecticut State Scholar in 1975. He then attended the University of Connecticut, graduating Magna Cum laude with a BS degree in Biology in 1979. Following four years at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Maglio graduated Magna Cum Laude as well as a National Optometric Honor Society student in 1984. He then opened his private practice of Optometry in his hometown of Plainville and has served this and the surrounding communities since.

Continuing educational and clinical studies have enabled Dr. Maglio to practice at the highest optometric level, providing advanced ocular disease and glaucoma diagnosis and treatment in addition to vision correction. “I am very thankful for the trust and support that my patients have given me and promise to continue to serve all of your eye care needs to the best of my abilities.”
